Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
This is my first post and i am doing my research before i make a investment towards developing my own app, I know they are silly questions but will highly appreciate if you guys could help me rectify below question:
I haven't found on any forum or blog people in India talking about receiving payments from Apple.
So my questions are:
1. Does apple pays to developers in India? 2. Can we know the banks that Apple supports in India? 3. How do they pay? 4. Being a "Sole Proprietor" i will be enrolling as Individual do they pay to my person account "which is under my name"?
Thanks for your reply :) Your game "TANGLED" looks interesting and successful was it developed single-handedly by you? Could please share more details on it? So far i have been planning developing few productivity app have been constantly brain-storming for unique ideas & user experience.
I would like to understand from your perspective what ideally is the most lucrative app category?
I plan to hire a full-time Sr. iOS Developer and UI/Visual Designer. Do you think its a good size and resource to start with? for in-house product development and accepting outsourced work?
What should be my primary focus? i.e product development or service?

Hey Tapan,
1. Yes, Indians banks are supported by Apple. 2. I don't think you can check which banks are supported until you make an account and pay the 99$ subscription. Then you can go to iTunesConnect and search for your bank to see if it is supported. In my case, my country's banks weren't supported and therefore I had to open a bank account with a different branch. So this won't be a problem, just extra work. 3. It depends on the bank. It either uses ACH Transfers that doesn't have any charges or wire transfers that costs about 15$ (not sure about the exact cost). 4. Yes, you can add the bank details that you want. Don't worry about it

Yes I've worked on Tangled pretty much all by myself. The only thing I didn't do is the music and graphics (well the new graphics, the old old graphics were made by me). Not sure what other details you would like though
Don't worry about all those doubts that you have. I am also from India and have registered for 99$ standard developer program.
Though i haven't published any app yet, but i have already submitted all the banking details easily via itunes connect. I have an ICICI bank account but, am pretty sure they support all the other well-known banks.
Also, the bank account details are entered separately from the developer details. You can use your personal account for receiving the money.
Thanks for your reply Rahul very helpful. Can i enter my company account details which is proprietor firm?
Are you the owner of that company? If yes, then that would be fine. But, if you just work there then DONT use their account details for anything, whether registration or bank account.
Also, if you enter your company details keep in mind that you will have to provide valid documents to apple. If you register as individual developer, you will just need a credit card and it will take less time. Hope this answers your question.
Rahul, its a proprietor firm registered under my name apple still suggests to select individual for proprietor firms. So can enter my firm bank details?
You can enter any details for your bank account. As i mentioned already, it's separate from the developer details. If you still have confusion, you can ask apple developer support. They are the best source to ask such questions :)
Hey, i tried registering for the Apple iOS developer account after completing the form a page appeared saying "Apple Online Store is unavailable"Your country either does not have an Apple Online Store or does not offer Apple Developer Products for online purchase. To complete the purchase of your program, you will need to complete and fax the Purchase Form below.
Did you guys experience the same thing?
I am using my friends cc details for singing up for the program i enter his billing details! just to let you know.
