Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
hi guys. im new to iphone dev and about to register as a developer. while registering i encountered a problem. I logged in through my apple id to register as paid developer. There i saw the name wasn't mine, instead it was my brother's name. Is this coz i used my brothers card details for payment. and the name there is un editable. how can i change that??? I haven't made the payment yet coz i want it in my name..plz help!!!
The account will show the name that you entered in credit card area in the registration form. Once you are registered, you just need to send them your id proof,e.g passport copy, and they will change it to your name.
I also used a friends credit card and later faxed them my passport copy(i am from india) and now it shows my name in developer info.
Just a small tip. Call the apple developer support and tell your problem. Don't mail them. You will save lot of time this way :)
Hey Rahul. Thanks for reply. Im also from India. Another problem is my brother stays in the UAE so it also shows the country as UAE. And r u sure they will change it to my name and the country?.
can u tell me in detail what exactly to fax them and on what number do I call?

Also if u can guide me as what exactly to do, i mean suppose i purchase license from my bro's card and it shows his name. so on what fax number do i have to mail them my id proof and how will they know for what i've sent the id???
Hey when i logged in today Apple had changed my name automatically. the same place it was showing my bro's name yest and today its showing my name. Solved!!! :)
