Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
A minor update to my app has just been approved and released today. Before submitting it I tested it thoroughly as usual on the simulator and also on a few devices. It worked absolutely fine.
However I have updated it via the app store (on one of the devices it worked fine on during testing) and it closes immediately. Doesn't even show the splash screen.
All I made were some content changes so this is pretty bizarre. Does anyone have any ideas?
Did you test on a device using an Ad-Hoc build or a Debug build before you released?
As they can have different build settings, then you can get different results. I always do my final testing using an Ad-Hoc build having been burned in the past.

Although the corrupt binary diagnosis is possible, I believe it can only possible if you have purchased your own app are downloading it to your devices via iTunes.

Nope nothing's expired, and the update was downloaded via the App Store on the phone.
This seems to have been resolved. I pulled my app before too many people updated, so I'm not sure what Apple is doing about the 1-star reviews. From what I've read on other forums they have been removed for most users.
