all apps that got into the App Store on 24th and 25th are not ranking any where on the App Store

i have checked all the apps that got into the App Store on 24th and 25th and found out that there is no single app that is currently ranking on any chart on the app store in any country.
and this is a huge bug for everyone who has released his app today or yesterday...
please apple fix this ...
my app got released yesterday it i got now 3k downloads in one country i should be ranked in top 30 of all free apps in that country and i say this from 3 years experience in that country app store charts but its not there .. and its not even in that app category ... so i went and checked all the apps on all the countries using app figures and found out the there is no app that got released yesterday or today and got ranked on the charts so there must be a problem with the system

I released an app for a client that blew up 2K downloads. Didnt show up anywhere in the rankings. I emailed a few of my contacts at Apple to see if there is a known issue. This sucks because a few of my personal apps went into review just now.

Ever since they've updated the search engine and messed with the App Store, everything has went downhill, and fast. The search sucks for sellers and consumers (it's hard for me to find what I'm looking for, I spend lots of money on Apps myself).

Waiting for at least 12 days to get an App reviewed. Should be AT MOST 7.

I wish Apple would explain the issue to us developers.

No kidding man my sales took a huge hit. Worse than that is just the amount of stress it has caused. I am a full time indie dev, so when they mess stuff up it affects my life.

I am having exactly the same issue with an app I released into the Mac App Store on the 24th. I have completed a bug report. I suggest everybody else does the same.

Yeap, experiencing the same issue. Not ranked and I had sales. I don't mind the long review time, nor I would have minded not being the new releases. But this I mind.

Can't say it enough. Go to the dev area and fill in a bug report. Great to discuss stuff here but Apple won't know unless we tell them.

I am aware of three other developers that released games in the last couple days and none are ranking anywhere.

Me too! My app was submitted on the 23rd/24th and I had a ton of downloads but I am not ranking anywhere. I know for a fact I should rank at least in the bottom 5%. Also a bunch of friends are having the exact same issue. One of them turned paid to free and vanished from the charts even though he was getting tens of thousands of installs. Something is definitely up...

Everyone should report this to Apple: https://bugreport.apple.com and try to grab media attention because it must be effecting thousands of us.

I'd say it has to do with the search update they did...It screwed up rankings as well. I'm betting that Apple is trying to find a better solution and is having lots of problems meanwhile. This would explain extremely long review times as well.

The old search/rank method wasn't broken. Why they "fixed" something that worked fine in the first place is well beyond me.

Yes, Whatsapp only changed their app from paid to free these couple of days. Somewhere between 23rd - 25th

When I submitted my app half a month ago I selected as release date the 25th because of my birthday..

apple got around to give me the green light on the 27th.
(note that I didn't change the release date on the itunesconnect)

soo... my app didn't ranked ANYWHERE not even in the new release panel.

this really damaged my app. (it was a game). I've emailed them but they didn't really acknowledge the problem.

I am interested on what you guys are planning to do next regarding this issue..

I am thinking of releasing the HD version of the game, not as an update like I intended but as a new release...

hopefully this time around it will show on the appstore.

Do you think apple will cause me trouble for not releasing it as an update?
