Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
Hi all, had an app update rejected earlier and suddenly all our apps were removed from sale. Why would this be? No explanatyion given etc. Fault in the system?
It looks as though a previous developer has removed them. How do I retrive them and back for sale? I can't even find any of them in the list of "Developer removed from sale" option.
I know this a little 'Captain Hindsight' but, never give anyone access to you developer account. If you aren't skilled enough to submit apps on your own, then have your developer or whoever TeamViewer in, and submit it from your machine, with you watching and entering passwords where necessary. If they have your developer certificate and provisioning profiles they could build and publish anything they want under your name.
I'm not sure why a developer did that, but in any situation it seems childish. Were they unhappy for some reason, didn't get paid, etc?
Thanks for replys . No. I had good dealing with both my developers. But I have changed the password and hoping apple are able to restore my account, is this something they can do? Restore my account back to how it was? What should I do? I sent them an email, the phone isn't on for 8 hours yet.
Ouch.. seems like someone removed your app. Never had this problem before but I would say the chances of your app being restored is slim and even so you would have lost your previous rankings and thus lost your presence that you once had.

Does your app still appear in the management section of iTunes connect (Like it just says Developer removed from sale).. If so then you can simply just turn it on again?
In the manage iPhone apps section there is nothing at all. The first I knew about it was when I got the emails saying " The status for the following app has changed to Developer Removed From Sale.".. I immediately sent a email to Apple, I wasn’t sure what this meant, I thought apple had removed them. As its Sunday I cant even call until 3 hours’ time, (16 hours later).
You can search and it has option to search for Developer removed from sale, put nothing appears, even though the name auto appears. It finds nothing.
Surely Apple has a system in place to revert account changes back? I hope they do :(
I wouldn't know why they would do it, and for all i know it was someone they knew, or someone who hacked in. I can't point a fingre at anyone really. But I rang 8am this morning, they sent the details to specalist. Its now really 12am and I heard nothing back :/
Did you ask your developers if it was anyone of them? And I hope your first reaction was to change your passwords and revoke any ITC accounts you might have set up.
Update: Apple are restoring my account back to normal before all this happened :) This is great news for me. And am making sure now on I have a very strong password, and only I will be entering it. Developers will have to use Teamview.
Yes! I am happy. They said its an 'exception' however, so I imagine this isn't something they are prepared to do very often! I've asked them if they can remove the delete button, which I'm sure they can't, but I'll wait and see
