Well, either Apple sends their employees here to get valuable feedback from the developer community or they send them here to see who is breaking the rules. I assume and hope it is the former...not that I have anything to hide...

Yea this is pretty lame stuff I am hoping this only effects mac machines because I log on this site at work non stop and they will be pissed.

But I would personally would like more details on the attack and how we can check our machines to see if we're infected

The one thing I didn't understand by the post is it says

Which users? They also say here it was JavaScript but I have read the problem was Java. Which is the case?

The javascript was used to call the java code from what I understand

That's because Facebook, the site, wasn't hacked. Only iPhone Dev SDK was. Facebook and Apple just had developers whose dev machines were infected by visiting this site. So it makes sense to reset all of the passwords here, but isn't necessary for Facebook or Apple accounts.

Nope, no specifics given.

For starters, I would clear out your browser cache, disable Java, and change your Facebook/Twitter passwords too.

I have Java installed (for Android development) but I have it disabled in Chrome

I would assume any machine with Java enabled could be affected, although the exact details haven't been announced.
