Chartboost low revenue for installs

Hi, i've started using Chartboost in one of my apps and one the first day the revenue per install was almost $2 which seems quite high. Since then it has dropped to a small fraction of this. On the second day I received 47 click, 1 install and $0.27 revenue. The next day I received 20 clicks, 1 install and $0.04 revenue. I really don't understand how the revenue per install has dropped so much. Has anyone else experienced this?

@KWSoftware I've never experienced this issue. Chartboost allows you to filter games that are not converting well in terms of eCPM.

    Hope it helps :)

If you are seeing installs, but low revenue, this could be due to CPC campaigns being served within your app. This means that the advertisers are paying for clicks not installs, so you could potentially see relatively low revenue per install.

Chartboost has been amazing for me. Those figures just don't look right. One install off 20 clicks or even 50 clicks is exceptional. I'd give it a week and double check those figures again.

Chartboost campaigns can run on clicks (CPC) OR impressions (CPI). Your "20 clicks, 1 install and $0.04 revenue" day is therefore likely the result of 1 click (and the install) being a CPC campaign.

Your volume is way, way too low to expect any kind of stability in your revenues or to be trying to reach any conclusions about Chartboost as a revenue driver. I'd concentrate on trying to drive your downloads and impressions volumes rather than getting wound up in the detail you are picking through above.
