Haha, why don't you take it off sale then republish ?

Hehe, is that what one should do?
What happens if I do an update? Did they block that or will it magically swirl up to the first page if I pull that stunt?
Taking it off sales and republishing feels so... I don't know, I've been waiting for so long now for this app to finally be released - Will I survive yet another period of waiting or should I perhaps just focus on getting the next app ready? - I mean, at least now I got the camel through the needle's eye, perhaps I should be content with that?!

Anyways I noticed the removed the Books-category from the phone-AppStore and since I'm in the Books-category I guess I just lost like alot of potential customers anyways... Does this mean the sales are poor if you reside in this category and that's why they pulled that from the phone-store?

Can't figure out an logic to the waits...

My app took 3 hours to get approved the first time. My minor bug fix update is taking days (going on weeks). I know that all code should be 100% perfect but seriously am I being penalized for having a bug?

Maybe Apple wants to spend time on new apps??

Well after waiting weeks and weeks for my first app to be reviewed (and still waiting), I was delighted to discover this morning that my second app is now also ‘requiring unexpected additional time to review’.

Apple has really let me down here, no explanation, no reply, no progress, no clue at all it seems, where is my motivation to continue? A third app in the "queue" ?? … hahaha grim :/

Our fifth app was submitted last monday, so today is a week.

Hoping it will be approved soon, but I just have a feeling it might be a while. :(

I submitted our sixth app on Saturday.

    Approved today!

Took a little over 3 weeks so not to bad really, the 'unexpected additional time' email really had me worried, and the complete lack of communication from Apple, well that sucked. But what the hell it's now on the store! Yes!! :D

I submitted our sixth app on Saturday.

Our fifth app was released to the store on Monday afternoon. Our typical wait time for review has been as little as 24 hours and as much as a week. We havent experienced anything longer than that so far.

My first app submission, iCelebrate08 spent five days "In Review".

Surprisingly, it was approved on a Saturday, which caught me without my demo site uploaded. I wasn't expecting them to be approving on weekends.

Unfortunately, it had the original submission date of 10NOV2008 when it showed up in the store, which pushed it to page two of the category. Not too happy about that. Looking at the "new" category on iTunes there are apps in there from Oct - what's up with that?

You should be able to go to itunes connect and edit your applications availability date. Set it to Saturdays date and the app listing in the store should be updated in a few hours.

Also the new category is not actually 'new' apps, it is just apps that Apple likes and wants on the front page.

My SantaLive app has been approved and is live. The app is 3D animation in which each day you see what Santa is doing in #D. Sort of like a webcam to the North Pole.

I put a demo on my site iphonesanta.com

Any feedback or reviews are appreciated.

First app was live within 24 hours(Super Pig Game).

I submitted a new app on Monday and I got an email last night of a bug so it was rejected. I fixed it(in 3 minutes from getting the email ) and it's in review still now. I'm hoping it goes live today or this week at the very least.

Just sign up with Google Analytics and add the javascript code to your application webpage. It will start monitoring all the visits your webpage have, giving detailed statistics.

I submitted my new game Roll a Stone today in both a lite version and a full version (www.rollastone.com). I entered the subcategories action and arcade.

It's Sunday today. It will be interesting to see if they are released next week and if they get released at the same time.

I submitted v1.1 of one of my apps last Tuesday. After v2.2 was released I rejected binary and resubmitted a new bug fixed version on Friday.

Saturday I got an email from Apple asking me to make a change (1 day assuming that each time you submit a binary, the process starts again).

I have now made their requested change and resubmitted.

So that's 4 days and nothing, 1 day and an email, and now a wait and see....

I'm not sure but I might be about to set a new wait record.

So far, I submitted 5 apps.

-3 of them have been approved within a week

-1 of them have been rejected 2 weeks ago, so I resubmitted with some corrections 5 minutes after I received the mail. I'm still waiting for an answer.

-My 5th app is in review since 4 weeks. And you know what, I'm pretty sure by the time apple take a look at it, they will say it is not 2.2 compatible (2.2 wasn't released when I submitted) and I'll have to wait an other month.

Really, I don't get it... my first 3 apps are really complicated compared to my apps #4 and #5 so I don't understand whats is taking so much time.

I submitted my first app november 22nd. But then last night i decided to add one more feature, so i rejected and uploaded a new binary or w/e. As much as I hope that doesnt restart the process of being reviewed, im sure it does.

Going by what I read here it is impossible to gauge how long this app will take to get approved. Seems like complete randomness to me.

Guess ill just plug on and get started with my next app :)

    I uploaded it on 11/23.
But my contract has to be approved first... hopefully it will be done before christmas.
It's a wishlist app so it would be bad for my sales... :/
