Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.

Thought this forum would be the best way to get in touch with additional people that could be interested in this.
In short, the company is currently selling a niche VOIP iPhone app on the App Store that is generating (projected) approximately $100k in operating profit per year. The current app has been in the app store for about 6 months, and so far has generated about $50k in revenue. It currently doesn't seem like this revenue stream will decline in the near future, and there is significant opportunity to increase the amount sales (more below). Monthly recurring costs for the company are around $200.
Currently, no marketing is being done at all and sales basically run on autopilot. All sales are through word of mouth. The target audience for this app is a specific group of people that should be easily accessible for an experienced marketeer and/or businessman. I believe the total addressable market is somewhere around 500k users (moderate projection) - as of today approx. 15k units have been sold. In addition, there are significant technical barriers for potential competitors to release a similar app, making it hard for competitors to enter the market and thus further safeguarding these sales.
Also included is a mailing list of 2100 people that could be used for direct marketing of other iOS apps.
Why am I selling? I feel like I've taken the app as far as I can and I believe that someone with more experience will be able to develop and monetize this further. I'm a developer - not a marketeer. In addition, I'd like to explore new ideas and projects outside of the mobile space.
This could be an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to strengthen his/her existing app portfolio, or someone who would be interested in entering the app space.
