Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.

iPad Business App Development: starting in the next 24 hours.

I need a developer with experience developing iPhone applications to work on portions of an iPad app. The UI design/artwork is mostly completed, so this should be straight requirements programming.

You must have experience in iPhone development with references. Having an app in the app store is preferred. This is a business application, so while games development might be relevant, please keep in mind that you will need to be intimately familiar with core data, audio recording and playback, and view transition animations (more than simply pushing a view onto the navigation controller), gesture recognition, manipulating UI elements via gestures, and implementing non standard looking UI controls including custom input controls, custom buttons and custom table views.

While the coding requirements for this app are not wildly complex, you will need to know coding best practices. In other words, if your code generally works, but looks like ****, isn't elegant and you don't know what "naming convention" means, then this probably is not the gig for you. I have very high coding standards.

I will provide you with the UI mock-ups and artwork along with requirements for each screen. If we work well together we will repeat the process for the next screen. The screens are small and focused, so each one is not likely to take more than a day or so.

You will provide me with ongoing working iPad projects using the latest beta build of the iPhone/iPad SDK. I need multiple builds per day--preferably via some online source control. The code should be clean, fast and without memory leaks. Static analysis should not note any relevant issues. All source code belongs to me.

This time frame is a fairly tight, but it is a very focused app so there isn't an extraordinary amount going on. I'd like to be code complete before the iPad ships on the 2nd.

I don't mind if you aren't in the same timezone as me or if this is something you do as a side-job, but you have to be a good developer, have a high work ethic, and be dedicated to finish the project. A couple hours a night is not going to work.

I really, really prefer to work through elance.com -- being able to put funding in escrow and tie milestones to deliverables is better for both of us and provides a convenient place for project management. I have a project request up there and can send you the link.

Please PM me if you are interested.
