Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
After years of thinking about this day, it is finally here! I am posting here for the first time because the time has come for me to start working on my own iPhone app. Until recently, I was working at Apple in what most would consider a dream job. As of November, I am on my own, starting my own company and it feels great. Things are going according to plan, which brings me here. I am looking to have a prototype ready to show to investors by early next year (end of February at the latest). While my long term goals for my company are very complex and monumental, this prototype really just needs to be a little bit more than keynote on my iPhone (which I doing myself right now).
This will be a paid project! I am looking for the best developers out there (and already have a few who I am talking to) and in return I am willing to compensate handsomely. If you want to have nothing to do with the company after the prototype is finished, that's fine. If you are looking for a career move, well you better believe this is the opportunity you have been looking for. I wouldn't leave a dream job at Apple for something that I didn't think would change the world. Go big or go home. It's up to you.
