Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
Looking for a developer to create a simple audio-related iPhone app
I'm currently looking for a developer to code a simple audio-related iPhone app that utilizes the built-in magnetometer. It's an estimated 1 - 2 weeks of fulltime work, and my budget is approximately 1 - 2 k, including some minimal graphic design. (Only two images need to be custom-created; if you don't have graphic design skills but work with a professional designer, I have no problem with you subcontracting out that aspect of the job.) This will hopefully be the first of many audio-related apps I plan on introducing in the coming year.
The successful candidate will:
- Be willing to sign an NDA (no details will be released without this) - Be willing to provide a written guarantee that the final code will pass technical review by Apple - Have some knowledge of basic audio principles - Have some graphic design skills or a working relationship with a professional graphic designer for subcontracting purposes
NOTE: Bids will only be accepted on a work-for-hire basis, with a written agreement stating that contractor retains full license to the product and full ownership of the code.
Your responsibilities:
- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Work in a timely fashion to complete the job within thirty days of bid acceptance
Your qualifications:
- Prior experience creating one or more commercially available iPhone apps - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - Strong communication skills - References required - U.S.-based developers preferred
