Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
max size of a plist file? any issues with huge files?
hi, Im wondering is there any issues with loading huge plist files? im creating a plist file of products, im about half way through adding the data to this file, and ive realised its 7000 lines long already, but im only half way.. these 7000 lines are made up by 60 dictionaries in the array plist file.
i assume all will be fine, but just thought id ask the question, will i run into any performance issues with a file this big? im guessing it would be fine as the root array will just have 120 or 150 dictionaries in it, which should be fine, and then each of those dictionaries will have 30 or so strings and 5 or so arrays/dictionaries which could contain 20 strings. so all up there is a heap of data, but brocken down its not much data in each array/dict.

I have a plist that is 23,000 lines of code loads data into a table view. It loads with absolutely no delay. File size is over a megabyte. So I'd say you'll probably be fine.
