Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. My App on Appstore NOT Compatible With iPhone3G(armv6)???
I'm a new iOS developer, however i got my app finally approved by apple and am now on appstore.
The thing is that although i have make all the necessary configuration to support the older device's (armv6), when my app hit the appstore i got the message that is not compatible with the iPhone3G.
i used xCode 4.2 and iOS SDK 5.0 with iOS compatibility 4.1 and ARC.
i can also confirm that when deploying the app using debugging or adhoc installation the app also works on my iPhone3g, however when i trying to download via the appstore, i get the message that "...is not compatible with this iPhone".
Can apple Appstore somehow blocked the compatibility with the armv6 devices(iPhone3G)???
The app is for a local organization so they made all documentation including the description, in which the forgot to include the iPhone3G, is there any chance that apple read the description and decided to not include the support for the iPhone3G???
Hope someone can give me clue before contacting apple about it.
Thanks, Zenon.
I have added a screenshot taken from my itunesconnect, hope it helps. Notice that both armv6 and armv7 has been added. Thanks again.

However on appstore in the "requirements" section it indicates that iphone3g is not supported.
i have found that in info.plist at the Required device capabilities option (also on screenshot) you have to include only the armv6 option - source here: iphone - Is it possible to target older iOS versions when using Xcode 4.2 and iOS 5 SDK? - Stack Overflow in my binary i have include both so most probably it reads that armv7 is required.
Can anyone confirm this?
