Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.

Label color under the identity inspector in Xcode 4

Identity Inspector as we all know that the label property is used to identify objects easier in interface builder, but what are the colors to the bottom of it used for ? I tried to select a color but nothing changed in interface builder. for more see the below image

Since that color is under the Xcode label, it implies that it should change the color of the Xcode label, but it doesn't.

I've never used it, and it doesn't seem to do anything.

Thanks, Duncan. It should change the color but it doesn't. As per my understanding there should be some meaning for that color because i don't think so that apple made such huge mistake. There should be some hidden meaning or usage of those color. By the way thanks for reply.

HA! Xcode is full of stupid, sloppy mistakes that are a lot bigger than that. Xcode 4 was released long before it was ready for prime-time.

Some UI object in the interface of Interface Builder that isn't used is very minor.
