Animate UIImages with a timer for each slide?

Hello:

I'm trying to make a process where an animation appears on the screen. I have the animation working, but the problem is I need it to work off of time per frame instead of time per animation sequence. The amount of frames varies based on the user's interaction. My current code is:

animationView.animationImages = [NSArray arrayWithObjects: ai1, ai2, ai3, ai4, ai5, ai6, ai7, ai8, ai9, ai10, ai11, ai12, ai13, ai14, ai15, ai16, ai17, ai18, ai19, ai20, ai21, ai22, ai23, ai24, ai25, ai26, ai27, ai28, ai29, ai30, ai31, ai32, ai33, ai34, ai35, ai36, ai37, ai38, ai39, ai40, ai41, ai42, ai43, ai44, ai45, ai46, ai47, ai48, ai49, ai50, nil];

    animationView.animationDuration = animationTime;
    animationView.animationRepeatCount = 0;
    [animationView startAnimating];

Create a repeating NSTimer with a certain base interval and have it switch the images how you want/need.

Can you try on your own? Creating a timer is one line of code.

I have the code done but how do I make it move it change the image? I know I can make 50 if statements but is there a simpler way?

moveObjectTimer = [NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:0.1 target:self selector:@selector(animateI) userInfo:nil repeats:YES];

Yes there is. Create an integer type ivar to be your frame counter, and increment it with every call to the animate method, then set the image with that index as the current image.
