To start a new ios project.

Hi, I am new ios developer. earlier I have worked in Grails and Android but now i am working in iphone. I just want to start a new project.
I just wanted ask to all of you which template is good for me that is view based,navigation based.

Figure out what you want to do, then decide which template best fits that goal.

As Brian said, that will depend on the structure of your app. You should have that figured out before you start, but if you're just learning you can even start with an empty project and build from there.

The templates are great for starting some apps and learning how everything is tied together. However, I would recommend going though some book tutorials that encourage starting from an empty project so that you learn how to code the structure that the templates provide. Learning the basic building blocks from an empty project will be beneficial anytime you need to adjust your app beyond the templates.

thanks all for your reply, but i want to know which one will full fill my all requirement in a app. in my app i have to implement navigation from one view to another view, and also have to implement tab bar in a view. Now can you please suggest me which one is better to start such a kind of project.

The empty one would be the best one to choose. From there, you can code both controllers and views to fulfill all the requirements of your app. Use the templates as a shortcut once you understand how the views and controllers work. You really need to understand the patterns of each so you can make a decision on what will work best for you.
