Launch image doesn't appear always on iPad

I have an application. The launching image doesn't appear always on ipad device, It display only at first time.

How can I set launch image when Open application.

When you say launch image, do you mean the Default.png image, or something else that you added in programatically? If its just the image that shows while the system loads the app, make sure it is called EXACTLY Default.png

Or, is your app running in background after you exit it the first time, so after that it just restores to foreground? (multitasking)

if you set the "Application does not run in backgr" flag in your info.plist file it should fix this for you.

There's nothing to fix, that's how it should work. You can, as RickSDK said, disable running in background, but I don't see why you would do that. You'd be making your users wait for the app to load every time and make it start from the beginning instead of where they left off. Depends on what the app is, though.

I mean, when we playing games on iPad we can see every time we open it at first the company image will display after that only game load. I want to display like that.

You may want to create a different screen for your launch image (Default.png) instead of the company image. Apple recommends matching the Default.png to your applications background. Creating a splash screen may go against Apple's human interface guidelines. (launch images should provide visual continuity, not advertising or excuses for delay).

You can create a splash screen. In certain cases like games that have to do a lot of loading it's even necessary. The only thing that the HIG says that the launch image (Default.png) is not a splash screen and that you shouldn't treat it as such. If you need one, create your own like GHuebner said.

The one warning that I read somewhere about the splash screens is that as the phones become faster and your application loads faster, a splash screen with a logo or something like that may be displayed very quickly. The user of the app could be confused that they missed something if the splash screen is removed quickly. And you all know users... they confuse easily.

I personally view splash screens as a relic from old Windows systems. It's been a while now that they served no purpose aside from advertising the product or company before each launch. And what's the point of that anyway. Imagine hearing "This song by [artist] is brought to you by Sony Records" or something like that each time you played a song. Wouldn't it be annoying?
As I said, unless you need to do a lot of loading, don't make a splash screen. The user already installed your app, what more do you want from them.

I doesn't mean Company name for advertisement. I just said for an example.

We told you pretty much all there is regarding the launch image and splash screens. What you do with it is up to you.

I drag and drop the launch image in project.
How can do launch image like as splash image( for display when we open application).
