Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
how to make UITextView text entry word wrap automatically?
Is there a way to make UITextView (multi-line text edit control) word wrap automatically? I can't figure it out for the life of me, and I find it hard to believe Apple didn't put this functionality in there somewhere. I've seen multiple apps from the app store, and the Note entry screen in the Contacts app do it, but I suppose they all could have implemented custom behavior in the control to do it. Any help is appreciated!
Alright I must be smoking something. Maybe they fixed it in the final firmware release....since I hadn't worked on this particular screen since beta 6. Nevermind my ramblings, it seems to be working just how I want it.
i still haven't been able to figure out how to enable horizontal scrolling in my UITextView, actually my text width is greater than the iphoone width and i'm placing it in a UITextView but it just doesn't work...
Even I am struggling with the same problem Please some one help us.
I think there is no API for setting word wrap for textview.
But I have one suggestion, If the text view text is not more than the visibility rect, then you can use one UILabel and use one button for switching edit mode, in edit mode ten show the text view.
this won't solve your issue but u can think some thing from this ... :)

Does anyone know how to do that same thing with the API? I don't use Interface Builder.
