Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
I just finished writing a post on my website with some source code for a remote control app. Basically, it connects to your Mac to control certain functions. If anyone is interested, you can go check it out. It uses applescript so it can do lots of things that it does not already. Last time I checked, the code did not work on the simulator for some reason. If anyone figures it out, please tell me. Thanks and I hope you find my code useful.
I figured that since the above sample code sends a string to the mac, I could check that string and then call an applescript function. If you want to use it in an application, go ahead. I too am going to make some revisions to it and see if I can get this system in the app store. The person who reviewed it thought it was too hard to use and rejected it.
I've always wanted to know how to do this kind of thing with the iPhone SDK so I thought I would share it.

The links no longer work, haven't been on this site in a long time. I actually no longer have access to the server that they were hosted on.
