Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
I have just bought myself a Mac Mini, and want to make some apps. However it only comes with Snow Leopard, and I don't want to spend anymore money so soon after buying a Mac. So does anyone still have Xcode for Snow Leopard, that they can send to me somehow, or a link to where I can get it, I have looked in so many places with no luck. Could someone please direct me there?
you can get xcode without a dev program subscription, but with the subscription you get everything for distributing it on the app store
I am a beginning developer who's learning Objective C and his first programming language (stupid I know), so if you get frustrated about my stupid thread questions, just know I'm not really good at programming yet.
Thanks for that. But is that the part I have to pay $99 for, or is that just the latest Xcode?
Oh! I'm sorry! You actually don't need to pay $99 and enroll for the iOS Dev program to download it. You just need to register as an Apple Developer which is free of charge.
After you are done with that log into your developer account and go here
Scroll down and you'll see something that says "Snow Leopard? Download". Thats what you are looking for.
EDIT: I think this is Xcode 3 for Snow Leopard. I'm not sure about it but to get Xcode 4 for Snow Leopard you need to enroll in the iOS Developer program by paying $99. I see it when I log into my iOS program account.
