Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
I'm not sold on those rumors yet as I'm not a big fan of a taller iphone, but if this was the case, most developers would just leave their app as is. 640 X 1136 is less than 20% more screen area than what we have now. I don't think native apps would be distorted or stretched when run on that model but just centered out on the screen and end up the same size as the regular iphone.
what rocotilos said. Changing resolution is adding fragmentation, and this is something that highly differentiates developing for iOS than for Android. Whatever Apple does, I expect them not to screw apps, and do it with the "just works" approach.
I think that Apple will make things work so that new resolutions will not break existing apps. 640x1136 is the same width but more space for vertical view in scrollviews and webviews which is a good thing. I remember I had seen a web site showing how many known apps will look in this new resolution and they all looked fine. I don't remember the link now but I will post it if I find it again.
