Cheap royalty free photos/images

tropictropic Posts: 117New Users @ @
Does anyone know a good website for cheap royalty free photos/images?

The usual big sites (e.g. www.shutterstock.com, www.bigstockphoto.com, www.depositphotos.com etc.) seems a bit overpriced if you need a lot of images.

I guess for most purposes you should always buy extended license, but damn, that's expensive :s

Extended license are way too expensive. There might be some easier way for free photos and images.

Maybe better use freelancers to make images for an app?

They're often pretty basic but they can do the job with some creativity.

I use them for my soundcloud posts.

You do have to make a profile though, but it doesn't take long.

I actually contacted freeimages.com to ask what you were allowed to do with the images. Here is their reply
Since the apps are sold/distributed via app store you cannot used
freeimages.com photographs. You can however contact the photographers and
ask for a permission for your specific use.
Even if it is free you still need to ask for a permission.
