Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.

Paid reviews - Real examples/anecdotes?

Hi,

I'm considering paid reviews to get the ball rolling on my recently released and very awesome music app ;) but hesitate throwing money down an unknown black void. Does anyone have any specific experience with any of them, for instance MacTrast or AppStoreReviewer or any others? None of the ones I've asked can give any results more concrete than "everyone who's used me has been satisfied". I've had tweets RT'ed to 100's of k of followers with only single digit click thru results so I know that these numbers don't tell the full story...

Some info that would be useful to know to make this a little more concrete:

Service name you used

Price & service rendered (e.g. $150 for a video review on YT to 60k subscribers)

Your app, it's genre & price

Sales/downloads before the service (like did you have any and this boosted it, or did you have none and this made it happen?)

Sales/downloads afterwards and how you measured it

Your overall thoughts about the experience. Good find or pillaged and plundered?
Many thanks!
