Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
Firstly - "friendlier more common animal such as a dragon" - great sentence!
Education is a relatively low-trafficked category so it's unsurprising that any reasonable press would push you to the top (and indeed push other Apps up above you when your time in the sun is over). I think a link to the App would be helpful for everyone to be able to give advice.

I see what you mean; But the sub text of the wonderful sentence is plain to understand if you try hard enough :) It is know that some Icons are more appealing then others, I think a dragon might be more appealing, more intresting icon, an Icon that will cause the person to further investigate the app....
In my opinion, I think the bee and the brush are friendly enough, but I would change the icon so that it is easier to make out when it's smaller. The brush looks a lot like a torch and it is not clear that the brush is what has painted the rainbow, since the rainbow looks like it is just behind the brush all the way to the right side of the icon. I think the bristles on the brush need to be of a more prototypical shape like this one so that it is recognizable by more people, quicker.
Also, in my opinion, your description needs to say what is unique and what parents and children will love. I'm not going to take your word for it and I'm not going to take the time to download it to see if you are right. Let me know more details (while still retaining your succinctness - that's great!) and I will make the decision myself as to whether or not it is unique and my children and I will like it.
