Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
Is iOS 6 and its New App Store a Game Changer? Check out our Analysis on its impacts.
Not trying to transform the forum in a "I published a new blog post, check it out" but we spent some serious time analyzing the iOS 6 update and the impacts it's gonna have on App Store Optimization and developers in general. It really has a huge disruption potential.
I know everyone is busy updating their apps ;), but don't ignore the "marketing" aspect of it neither: there are some things you might want to do not to be left out.
The New App Store - A coherent look across devices - No more categories in menu (kinda hidden now - this is huge) - Genius instead of categories - Ratings disappeared from Featured tab - Search Results with "Cards-like" UI (this is huge) - Redesigned updates screen
The New App Details Page - Sharing options - Details tab: screenshots above description, description with preview (no more scrolling down the whole description), What's New and - Updates history, developer page - Reviews tab: Facebook Like integration, Review recap by ratings, app support button (finally!) - Related tap
And of course the changes in the search algorithm ("chomp update", started in June) but that would be too long to detail here.
Just so you know, we also updated The App Developer's ASO Cheat Sheet accordingly. For those in a hurry ;)
As always, feedback is welcome and we'll be glad to discuss this further and make improvements.
