Over the last 7 days using a CPI campaign I've gotten 733 installs at a cost of $69.42 ($0.09 cents per install) This is from 1804 "clicks" So that is 3 cents per click. Can you get better or equal to 3 cents per click in a CPC campaign?

Is it a free app? Can you earn back the money?
Assume the app is MovieClock....
Don't know if it runs ads... but does have IAP at $0.99
It costs him $9.00 per hundred installs...
He needs a conversion rate of 12.85% to break even...ie he has to have 12.85 unlocks per 100 downloads.
Why the odd number?
Apple takes 30%... so 12.85 x 70% = $9.00
That is a high conversion to break even, much less make a profit.
However if you're running ads, it becomes a bit easier as the ad revenue recoups your costs faster.
But pure IAP?
Appears to be hard to do, even with such low install costs. The solution perhaps is to raise the price of the IAP.
