We've been developing apps for our clients, we're just into app development but don't know the best way to promote apps. Now we're seeking quick ways to promote our apps. Just decided to go through facebook for first app promotion, question is facebook ad is good for app marketing?

    hey @DigitalDividend,

Facebook mobile ads has the most diversed targeting options among all other app promotion networks. If you know what audience you need to reach, then its the best option. However, these ads might seem rather expensive and they need constant optimization.

    hope this helps)

It has been expensive for us but we have gotten quite a bit of users from running FB ads.. Be careful and set a budget though and test the waters first with your ad to see if they are converting over.

We have tried and found out that Free apps are a good choice to promote, at least the budget spent wasn't useless. For the paud one, it was tpp expensive with no visual result.

What CPI and are those users "quality users"? I feel the focus is shifting, in terms of measuring the quality as well as the quantity.

Country of user, usage of app and retention are some of the key metrics.

The target audience is really narrow, as our apps are not games, we have them in Utilities and Video sections, so I think target such users is easier. Concerning CPI it was about 2$ and even more.

    Hey @DigitalDividend

Facebook is one of the best platforms to advertise your application!

You have to choose mobile app install adverts which will help you to get more mobile app downloads and users!

To implement that first of all optimize your app and then advertise your app!

Then analysis the output very closely.

Follow these steps and you will definitely get your desired output!

If you want to supplement your marketing efforts, there are a variety of other methods available to you. Since you are developing a group of apps for a single client, you can use cross-promotional advertising among your apps - share the popularity with your other products. If your apps are unrelated to each other, you should consider joining a developers' community that allows you to advertise among other mobile apps in the community, thus benefiting from the user-base of more established apps. This reciprocal method of in-app advertising is here.
