Does anyone have or have a link to a iPhone App Web Template to show off your application? One with a picture of an iPhone i could put screenshots of my application in would be nice.

There is art AND a release form on the Apple website. You may not use the image of the iPhone to promote yourself on your website without first signing their application form.

I know about those images, i was more looking for an actual website template (HTML Files) that i can fill in the blanks, and drag images into folders and the site will look nice. Though, I doubt it will be that easy :(.
Since i only know the very basic's of HTML.

The easiest way to get a website that looks like another website is to View Source, save the resulting files and edit them to fit your content...

If you have selected a websit with an external CSS or something that's dynamically generated you will have a little trouble matching the look and feel, but if what you want is to "steal" a website design and plug in your words and images, consider anything on the Internet a template and go from there.

How about using blogger.com? There are many templates for blogspots.
Each post can be about one of your app. So if you have 10 apps, that'd be 10 posts. And each time you update the app, you just edit the current post. Blogger.com has lots of nice templates design too.. easy to use.

Other than that, since you know basic HTML, just create the website yourself. I also knows basic HTML (no xml or whatever else).. see my website: Emir's iPhone Apps Homepage - not superb, but serve its purpose to give info to users who are browsing it. You just need to know a bit about TABLE tags. and.. thats it. for my site, i created a few tables, and some table inside another table's cell.. just play around with it after you decided the layout. pretty easy.

    Hello everyone,

Just read the whole post + the pdf on apples dev site. First off I am a registered Developer. My main question is, am I allowed to have a website and place "modified" images of say the iPhone / "Buy now on the app store" icon and such on my website if they are not the ones used from apple's PDF?

Can I make a website at all promoting my game with direct links to the "buy now on the app store" or would I potentially get hammered by apple if such a thing happened?

(I do want to use the provided images, but just in case they decline my URL because of the i in front of the name of the app, e.g. "iWebsiteName.com" and looking at other options.)

    Thank you for your time~

    Hi,

I have used something pretty straight forward like:
iPhone HTML Template - Downloadable Product
I can put whatever content I want in the container and link to my iPhone page within the app store. Pretty easy.

    Coolhand :)

Hi. Check out http://www.limelightapp.com/ . We provide templates and host iPhone app marketing sites as a subscription service. They allow visitors to download directly to their iPhone using SMS links and QR codes. If your app is already in the App Store, we'll pull all your information from there to get your site up and running quickly. We'll generate all the beautiful iPhone product shots automatically.

I'm interested in making an iPhone App in my spare time, but the extent of any coding knowledge I have is HTML and CSS. I wish I could learn Objective C and all that fun stuff, but for right now some of the Apps that I want to make would probably be just about as easy as you could make them.

Basically all I want to do for my App is make a sort of local Wikipedia-type App. Everything would be built in, meaning nothing is pulled off of the internet for any of the information. No information would be able to be added either, just a simple read-only App.

The App Store itself is a perfect example of what I want to do. Browse by category, search through a list of items, see an icon of that item along with information and screenshots - and that's it.

Are there any templates that can be found which someone could populate info in? I don't mind paying for such a template, I just don't know how to go about making an iPhone App.

Also I realize I could just make a Web App but I'd rather have a native one.

    Thanks.
