Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
Many of you have requested that the tutorials that had previously been seen on iPhoneDevCentral be updated for the final version of the iPhone SDK. Unfortunately, that website is not run by iPhone Dev SDK and my attempts to contact them have gone unanswered.
What we're going to do is create a special subsection of the forum just for community contributed tutorials; both video and text based. The section is now ready for submissions [1]. If you'd like to create a tutorial and have it hosted here at iPhone Dev SDK, please send me a private message or email at chris [at] iphonedevsdk.com. You'll find many requests for tutorials already exist [2].
For now, creating video tutorials is a way to share your knowledge with the community. In time, I'm going to be doing special things for our "Tutorial Authors". The community has done an amazing job over the last 6 months in creating a wealth of knowledge regarding the iPhone SDK. Having a dedicated area for iPhone SDK tutorials will only further the progress that has already been made.
