Well free apps do tend to get more downloads so I guess the 2 can correlate.Favours free apps? I think it always favor popularity.My thoughts exactly. And with the new search algorithm that favours Free Apps to Paid ones, it will make it almost impossible for premium apps. If they really want to clean-up the App store, they can get rid of all these 1-star apps and fake reviewed ones instead of seeing them everywhere.It's limiting exposure to everyone that it didn't sell a thousand copies already. If you plan to launch a new app/game without outside app-store marketing.. good luck with that..This is not a bug. You're not meant to see more results on the device. My guess is that this is a small part of the overall App Store clean-up effort. Forcing the crap app makers out of business by limiting search exposure.
In general yes...but I have been approved once in these occasions (1 out of 10 times)my game update was in review for 3 days, then I received an email saying it needs additional review time... should I be worried ?
