Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
I have been having some success with my Penny Saved apps, but I am not getting any reviews.
I would like to exchange app reviews with other devs. You review my app and I in turn will review yours. I am in no way asking for a positive review, just an honest unbiased review of my app(s), and you should expect the same.
Here is my experience so far with Revmob and Chartboost. I haven't tried Playhaven yet, as the payment threshold is $500.00, but I plan on using them in the future.
Revmob ~ 3.50 eCPM Chartboost ~ 7.50 eCPM
Looks like Chartboost is the winner for now. Here is what I like/dislike about each service.
Revmob Pros: Simple integration. Easy to use website with decent analytics. Popup ad seems less intrusive, than a full screen ad. Cons: Pays a lot less than what they advertise (this makes me not trust the company as a whole). No variation in ad presentation.
Chartboost Pros: Good eCPM. Ads can pay for clicks not just installs. Awesome analytics. Nice, clean ad presentation, with a custom ad for each app. Can set up campaigns for a min CPI and CPC. Cons: None really. I haven't found anything I dislike about this service so far.
The amount you can make will vary based on the gig. To get gigs I would suggest searching craigslist and iOS related forums. You have to take the initiative. Another thing to consider is that a lot of people searching for devs on craigslist are looking for a deal.
