Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
Several factors at play here: 1. the screen shots and description don't help you. They both should tell the user what the app does. Have some action shots and skip the menu (they all have menus) Show people what's special about your app.
2. as time goes on, the bar will be raised and people will expect more from apps. Don't think "it's just a dollar" ... think "I've got to stand out from the crowd" and keep in mind the crowd has some BIG devs and 1/2 million apps.
3. For a while now, having an app do well is going to take a true investment. The "flashlight" days are gone. You'll need to exploit the device, APIs, Game engines, etc.. for all their worth.
You've already put the apps out, the 1st few days are usually the best for an app.
You have to decide if you want to make the investment in time/money/etc in order to take your idea far enough to make people really want it MORE than the 1/2 million other apps out there.
I still think the jury is still out on the "apps have to be free now" concept, it really depends on what GOOD apps do. IE: if all free apps a junk apps and all good apps are a dollar or more, then paid apps win and free apps end up in the gutter.
