Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
I can't answer the question if it is worth it. But if you have spent lots and lots of time in this business without much success yet, don't give up too early and consider the following:
You spent 6 months or probably more to get into this business. Now you took the first step from being an absolute beginner to being a decent amateur. So you made the first steps and sold some copies of your apps. Your revenue so far may only be a few hundred bucks, but hey. You took off into the sky and that was very hard to do. So congrats! Your on your way. So why would you stop now? Because other businesses will make you a millionaire in a week? Probably not.
RESTART FROM SCRATCH? AGAIN? If you leave this business and change to another business, you restart as the absolute freshman. You will be a beginner again. You go back to zero. You go back to the start. You throw away your 6months or maybe 12 months or more you spent in this business. Just to start from zero again with another thing. And what other thing is there to be that easy to throw away 6-12 months and start again from zero? Most businesses are hard, some even take years to be successfull. Some take decades.
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!! So please don't give up too early with your apps, because you took the first steps and by the time you will take more steps if you keep on your success-track and improve things, learn more and make better apps. Angry birds was the 50th app from Rovio. They didn't start with being millionaires over night. They also had the same problems everyone else has and they also had hard times. It's normal. Just don't quit too soon. Keep climbing the ladder and BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!!!!
