Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.

Result listing is sorted mostly by no. of downloads with no relevance on exact name match and little weight on higher prices. The affected apps are mostly paid apps which are found via search, their search ranks are lowered significantly. The general effect is as follows:
1) Many irrelevant apps get in the way 2) Exact name match has no effect, leaving new apps harder to be found and also diminishing word-of-mouth effect 3) Heavy apps with higher prices got no or little position boost, encouraging us to build cheap apps with less functionality? (I suspect that the position boost for expensive apps tends to fall off very quickly after 3.99)

I believe the change lowers the search quality and this is bad for the users. If it's meant to be like this, I will accept it and learn to move on. After all, it is a long survival game
