Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.

  • Is it Even Worth Developing Apps?

Unless you get very very lucky (think winning the lottery lucky) what's changed with the App store is there's no easy rides anymore. Of course it's possible to make money on there, but you have to a) make a great product, which has to be at least as good as your top competitors (if you can't manage that then don't bother) and b) you need to market the hell out of it before, during and after launch. The event in itself of launching on the app store doesn't mean anything (unless you get featured), that day comes and goes in a blink of an eye and it's easy to be left wondering what happened and why no one has downloaded your app! the main reason is simply because they did not know it existed! Why do you think that medium sized and upwards developers spend so much money on advertising? PR/Marketing is just as important as the product itself, and you have to realise that when you are thinking of developing anything for the app store, I would even go as far as to say if you can't get a decent marketing plan in place to push your app in some way don't bother launching it.
