Please do not post the same thing multiple times. The board software automatically flags certain posts as needing moderator attention. This happens the most often for new users. I'm pretty sure this is made clear at the time you attempt to post. Posting the same thing over and over again just makes that many more posts the moderators have to weed through later. This makes us sad. Don't make us sad. If your post/thread doesn't appear, just wait a while. Don't post it again. If it hasn't shown up by the next day, then you can try again. I normally go through posts in the mornings, and try to check a few times throughout the day, but I'm not here 24/7. There will typically be a significant delay before posts are approved. Just be patient.
First of all, why bluetooth? since bluetooth is mostly one-to-one connection. If your app supports only ip4s and above then you can use CoreBluetooth framework. Otherwise the standard bluetooth protocol doesn't support custom data (e.g. your files)
Are you hardware engineer who designs the hardware? what kind of bluetooth profile are you using? chip/microprocessor manufacture? dev kit for iOS?
1) BLE 4.0 works only with iPhone 4S/5 or later 2) Xcode and Mac of course. Also hardware dev kit for iOS of your bluetooth chip manufacture. Protocol analyzer for hardware/software debugging. 3) No, hardware can send only its information to iOS devices.
Download WWDC 2012 (Session 701,705) to have more information about it.
We are thinking on use a BT111 Bluetooth Smart Ready HCI Module from Bluegiga. When you say hardware dev kit for iOS, what does that mean? Could you explain me better your anwser on item 2?
If you're using Bluegiga then I believe you don't need Apple authentication chip since they're included (not 100% sure, might change and you have to ask them)
Hardware dev kit of Bluegiga is Bluegiga - Evaluation BT111, your hardware engineer(s) will need this board to build and design your product. I don't know if you need to be MFi to order the dev kit or not.
Since it's standard so it will work with all bluetooth supported devices.
If your business data is exposed by SAP via API/webservice, then there is nothing to do with SAP. Otherwise, you have to look to SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
