It's generally best to avoid UIWebViews. Typically you would only use a web view to present info from a 3rd party web page which you do not otherwise have access to their data. If the data from the receipt is held on one of your own servers, you should do a web service call from the app to the server to get the info. If all the data is already contained on the device, then just use a tableview to display the data.
you can also beta test by creating an ipa file from archive, using a distribution profile that has a number of devices included. You then email the ipa file to the users and they install it using iTunes. Its a bit of a pain, but not too bad once you get it set up and running.
I would get a new accountant. Sounds to be these guy is either incompetant or intentionally creating tons of needless work. Either way he is going to hit you with an enormous bill at the end of the year for all these shananagans.
